Tomlin Systems takes in retired computers and electronics from offices, schools, churches, and small businesses that are decommissioning equipment. If you have hardware that's being retired and you want it handled with documented data sanitization rather than just hauled off, this is the intake path.

The process

1. Intake. Equipment is received from your organization.
2. Inventory. Each item is logged.
3. Sanitization. Storage media is sanitized following the methods defined in NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1.
4. Certificate issued. A Certificate of Sanitization is issued for sanitized drives.
5. Resale or recycling. Equipment that can be resold is refurbished and listed; equipment that can't be resold is taken to a local electronics recycler.

What's accepted

Documentation

Documentation is provided with the handoff, including a Certificate of Sanitization for any drives that were sanitized as part of the intake.
